Center for Science in the Public Interest

Focus of CSPI is on consumer protection, food safety, policy development, and nutrition advocacy in North America (USA with a sister organisation in Canada). Agricultural biotechnology is also a focus of interest.

Science and Society at EMBL

Website of a Science and Society initiative at the European Molecular Biology Laboratories (EMBL) in Heidelberg, Germany.

An online and hard-copy journal that covers many bases: Science and Art, Commerce, Education, Ethics, Government, Society, Agriculture. Sustainable Agriculture is obviously a major theme here. Become a member, join a mailing list, or just read it online. Based in the UK.

Union of Concerned Scientists

An independent nonprofit alliance of 50,000 concerned citizens and scientists across the USA. Promotes cleaner, healthier environment and a safer world.
